Under this five-year agreement, the company will acquire, transform and enrich the proprietary vessels, sensors and other complex maritime data sources from the US Navy ’s various platforms into commercially consistent data payloads that can be accessed from anywhere.
The next generation ecosystem will deliver AI and machine learning (ML) capabilities to the US warfighting naval forces.
The systems provided by Torch.AI will also support the delivery of data pipelines for the US Navy ‘s AI/ML personnel, who are responsible for performing the associated AI/ML algorithm and model development.
It includes Cloud compute, storage, hardware and Cloud edge devices that are used for data lakes at secret, unclassified as well as top-secret levels.
