Michigan has created a blueprint to help its 60 and older residents stay in their homes and communities for the long-term.

On Thursday, June 9, the state finalized and submitted its “Age-Friendly Action Plan” to AARP, a move officials say will jumpstart work in six focus areas aimed at making life easier and safer for aging populations.
