Global software firm Kaseya will open a new office in Dundalk in a move that will create 250 jobs over the next three years.
he new roles at the new Dundalk site will focus on engineering, technical support, as well as inside sales, specifically new customer acquisition. There will be some positions available in corporate services.
The Dundalk office, which will operate as a Centre of Excellence for the company, will also focus on research and development.
Kaseya also plans to connect with university partners in the area to support training students for positions with the software company.
The company, which is headquartered in Miami, Florida, provides IT and security management software for IT professionals. Kaseya now has a presence in over 25 countries across the world.
The software firm already has an office in Dublin, where it established its EMEA headquarters in 2016.
“We saw tremendous opportunity to expand the tech ecosystem in Ireland – we’re already in Dublin – and decided to open a second office in Dundalk,” said Kaseya CEO Fred Voccola.
“We are planning to attract top tech talent and generate a robust workforce pipeline in the local community. We are excited about this partnership that will expand Kaseya’s footprint in Ireland, where Kaseya has its roots.”
