HADLEY — A free presentation focused on elder law issues is being held at the Hadley Senior Center on Friday.
The program, put on by the Massachusetts Bar Association and hosted by the town’s Council on Aging begins at 12:30 p.m. The senior center is located at 46 Middle St.
Among the topics to be discussed by attorneys from the MBA and the Massachusetts Chapter of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys are veteran affairs financial benefits, protection of home and assets, power of attorney and health care proxies, reverse mortgages, homestead and life estates, Medicare/Medicaid changes, COVID-19 resources and alternatives to nursing home care.
These topics correspond with the publication of the revised and expanded “2022 Elder Law Education Guide” that is available at the Senior Center and online at www.MassLawHelp.com.
