Dentsu Creative EMEA Pulls Together its Leadership Team – Adweek

Now that Dentsu has blended its global creative shops to form Dentsu Creative, the newly formed network has appointed its new EMEA leadership team. Former Isobar global managing partner Sven Huberts has been named president experience while former adam&eveDDB Group managing director Fiona McArthur has been appointed chief growth officer. The two join COO Ete Davies and CSO Patricia McDonald on the leadership team and will report to EMEA and U.K. CEO James Morris.

Dentsu Creative EMEA claims to be the fastest growing region in the network, with over 2,500 people in 29 markets. The new leadership team is positioning itself for growth and will work towards its ambition to be the top creative network in the region.

“This is a powerhouse of a team. Ambitious, entrepreneurial and modern creative leaders, equally brilliant with our clients and our people. I have no doubt that together we will harness our potential in EMEA and build the number one creative network in the region,” said Morris in a statement.

Huberts led Isobar for more than a decade, first as managing director of the APAC region, helping to deliver double digit growth. He then led a new growth strategy across EMEA, and most recently, as global managing partner, he repositioned the business, rebalancing leadership teams to achieve gender parity in key markets including India and China. As EMEA president experience Huberts will be responsible for driving Dentsu Creative’s ambition to be a leader in digital experience and innovation.

“I am incredibly excited to lead the progression of our experience offering across EMEA,” said Huberts in a statement. “I believe we can help our clients make a positive impact that is relevant now and for everything the future holds. Our ability to bring the best specialists together from different disciplines across brand, entertainment, earned and experience is a superpower that truly differentiates us.”

McArthur has spent much of her career in integrated communications leadership roles at DDB, overseeing the growth, development and direction of its brands and accounts. As group managing director at adam&eveDDB, she led growth across the DDB UK Group and was an active sponsor of its inclusion and diversity program. She was also responsible for the Mars Petcare business globally. McArthur joined Dentsu at the end of last year as U.K. integration lead. In her new position, she will lead the growth strategy across the region.

“We have the most extraordinary tool kit at Dentsu Creative. We can credibly do or make anything,” said McArthur in a statement. “It’s a great opportunity to work in an environment where there really is no limit to what we can leverage in the service of creativity.”

The newly formed Dentsu Creative operates in 17 key markets across the globe, including EMEA, New York, Shanghai and London.
