Jennifer Biry | McAfee
McAfee appointed Jennifer Biry as finance chief. Biry joins the security software company from media company WarnerMedia, where she was named CFO in December 2020. Biry was previously chief financial officer for three of AT&T’s largest business units, AT&T consumer, AT&T business, and AT&T technology and operations. Biry succeeds Venkat Bhamidipati.
Shaun McCabe | Boohoo
Fast fashion retailer Boohoo hired Shaun McCabe as finance chief. McCabe is currently CFO of ticket booking site Trainline. McCabe was previously international director of online retailer Asos and chief financial officer of Amazon Europe. McCabe, who has been audit chair at Boohoo since 2020, replaces Neil Catto. Catto will serve on the group board as executive director.
Heine Dalsgaard | Carlsberg
Heine Dalsgaard will resign from beer maker Carlsberg to take a position in a private-equity-backed company in a different industry. The brewer will initiate the search for a successor and Dalsgaard will continue in the role until December 31 at the latest. Dalsgaard joined the company in 2016 from facilities management company ISS, where he was group CFO.
Anselm Wong | Janus International
Anselm Wong will take over as CFO of self-storage manufacturer Janus International on July 1. Wong joins the company from General Electric, where he was CFO of GE digital. He previously was vice president and deputy CFO at Resideo Technologies, where he was responsible for building a finance organization in connection with its spin-off from Honeywell International. Before that, he worked in finance leadership roles, including CFO positions, at Honeywell. Wong will succeed Scott Sannes, who has been CFO for the last seven years.
Jason Peel | LaserShip
LaserShip hired Jason Peel as its new CFO. Peel joins the parcel carrier from interior design company Interior Logic Group, where he was most recently president and chief operating officer. He joined the company in 2018 as chief financial officer. Peel spent more than 12 years at Henry Company, the last five as chief financial officer.
Todd Smith | Wheels Up
Wheels Up named Todd Smith as the private aviation company’s CFO. Smith joins the company from General Electric, where he worked in several senior, global finance roles over his 25-year career. Most recently he was global head of FP&A and CFO of GE corporate. He has held chief financial officer roles for several GE business units, including gas power systems, capital international, healthcare life sciences, capital real estate, and commercial finance.
Julie Albrecht | JELD-WEN
Building product manufacturer JELD-WEN appointed Julie Albrecht as chief financial officer. Albrecht joins the company from packaging company Sonoco, where she has been CFO since March 2019. Before that, Albrecht was vice president of finance, investor relations, and treasurer of Esterline Technologies, a manufacturer for the aerospace and defense markets. Earlier, she worked at United Technologies, Goodrich, and Coltec Industries. She replaces executive vice president and acting CFO David Guernsey, who will transition into another leadership role.
Tralisa Maraj | LiveWire
Tralisa Maraj joined Harley-Davidson as CFO of LiveWire, the company’s electric motorcycle business. Maraj was previously chief financial officer and corporate secretary of oil and gas exploration company CGX Energy and was previously chief accounting officer. Before CGX, Maraj was corporate controller of Remora Energy Management. She started her career at PricewaterhouseCoopers, holding various roles over 14 years.
Michelle Adams | SeaWorld
Michelle Adams was hired as CFO of SeaWorld. Adams was most recently chief financial officer of The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, where she played a key role in its sale last month. Before that, she was partner in charge of the hospitality and gaming industry group at RubinBrown and a manager at Deloitte & Touche. Adams replaces Elizabeth Castro Gulacsy, who is retiring.
Scilla Grimble | Deliveroo
British online food delivery company Deliveroo named Scilla Grimble as chief financial officer. Scilla has been CFO of price comparison website MoneySupermarket since 2019. She was previously interim chief financial officer at retailer Marks & Spencer where she was also director of group finance, and she has held several senior finance and leadership roles at Tesco. Scilla spent 10 years at UBS, where she was managing director and head of consumer and retail investment banking EMEA.
